the WSBA provides many services to its 28,800 members.

Personal Injury Lawyers
Washington personal injury lawyers must be current with the changes
of tort law within the state. In regard to tort law, Washington
personal injury lawyers need to know that joint liability has
been dismissed if the plaintiff is partially at fault (with a
few exceptions), market share liability is permitted and pure
comparative negligence is the rule.
It would also be helpful if Washington personal injury lawyers
were up-to-date on past and present high-profile lawsuits as a
frame of reference for their work. Such lawsuits may include same
sex marriage, anti-online poker and the AvTech Direct Spam settlement.
